* Recommendations based on my own experience or those of friends and loved ones, please note that you as a parent/ Guardian need to ensure that you do your research further, these are merely guided links to get you started, always ensure that you visit the institution yourself and that you and your child feel safe and comfortable there. Just because a school was a not the right fit for one child does not mean it will not be the right fit for yours. Do not be afraid to ask questions and please remember that not all cottage schools are registered some rely on the Pestalozzi trust to get around this but please ensure that you do your research and check credentials before enrolling your child. If a school/ school representative is worth their pinch of salt they will be upfront with you and answer all of your questions!!!!!
* Homeschooling involves the tutoring of your own child within your own home or with the assistance of a tutor.
*Cottage schools comprise of a smaller institution outside of the home and are supposed to be registered with the department although there are ways around this, please again ensure that you do all of your research beforehand.
